Java Developer

Xtremenext ("we," "our," or "us") is seeking a detail-oriented Java Developer to join our core engineering team. This role is central to building and maintaining the high-frequency backend systems that power our trading platforms. You will focus on maintaining robust server-side logic, debugging complex systems, and ensuring seamless data integration for our global users.

This role is based in Dubai and is open to candidates with 0 to 4 years of experience. Freshers with strong logical skills are encouraged to apply. Employment Type: Full-time | On-site.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain and enhance existing Java applications to ensure stability and scalability.
• Debug complex issues using logs, code tracing, and systematic problem-solving.
• Understand and modify existing codebases with minimal guidance.
• Work on backend components, integrations, and server-side logic.
• Identify and fix bugs, optimize system performance, and improve overall code quality.
• Collaborate closely with the team to ensure stable and predictable system behavior.

Required Skills

• Core Java Expertise: Strong knowledge of OOP, Collections, Exception Handling, and Generics.
• Technical Fundamentals: Deep understanding of programming fundamentals and data structures.
• Concurrency: Understanding of multithreading basics (Threads, Synchronization, Race Conditions).
• JVM & I/O: Basic knowledge of JVM concepts (Memory, Garbage Collection) and file handling.
• Problem Solving: Strong debugging skills and the ability to read/analyze existing code efficiently.
• Database: Basic knowledge of SQL and relational databases.

Good to Have

• C++ Knowledge: Familiarity with C++ is a significant added advantage.
• Networking: Understanding of client-server architecture and networking basics (TCP/IP, Sockets).
• Tools: Experience with Git (Version Control) and build tools like Maven or Gradle.
• Environment: Familiarity with Linux commands and basic understanding of HTTP/REST APIs.

Desired Candidate Profile

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or a related field.
• 0 – 4 years of experience in Java Development (Freshers with strong logical skills are encouraged to apply).
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle mission-critical trading infrastructure.
